Marjorie Tan has a diverse work experience in the fashion industry. marjorie started in 1997 as an Assistant Designer at Esprit and then worked as a Senior Design Director at Gymboree from 1997 to 2007. In 2008, they became the owner of Minor Collection, a sustainable luxury brand for little girls. Alongside this, they also worked as a fashion apparel consultant. In 2009, they joined Tea Collection as a freelancer and eventually became the Director of Design in 2014. marjorie also worked as an Instructor at the Academy of Art University during this time. Overall, Marjorie Tan has demonstrated a strong background in design, management, and teaching within the fashion industry.
Marjorie Tan completed their high school education at Lowell High School from 1990 to 1993, earning a High School Diploma with a general field of study. Following that, they attended FIDM from 1994 to 1997, where they pursued an AA degree in Fashion Design, Merchandise Marketing, and Product Development.
