Catherine Thorp

Catherine Thorp is currently the Head of Learning Design at Teach First, where they lead a team to create curriculum content aimed at supporting thousands of teachers and educational leaders throughout the country. Previously, Catherine held various roles within Teach First, including Head of Multi-Programme Curriculum Design and Senior Design Officer, focusing on the development of training programs for educators. Their earlier experience includes serving as Assistant Head Teacher at St Bernard’s R.C. Primary School and as a Literacy Lead and classroom teacher at St Thomas of Canterbury RC Primary School. Catherine earned a Bachelor of Arts in Primary Education with QTS from Sheffield Hallam University.
