Matthew Williamson

Matthew Williamson is an accomplished recruitment professional with extensive experience in early talent acquisition and university recruitment. Currently serving as Head of Early Talent Recruitment at Teach First since January 2015, Matthew has successfully led the recruitment efforts across UK universities, delivering over 1,000 hires annually for the Training Programme. Prior to this role, Matthew progressed through various positions at Teach First, including University Recruitment Manager and Graduate Recruitment Officer, where strategic and operational responsibilities were managed, and teams were trained and developed. Matthew’s earlier career includes roles at Prospects.ac.uk, where expertise in graduate recruitment promotion was built, as well as positions in product management and sales coordination. Matthew holds a Professional Certificate in Marketing from CIM and a BA in English from the University of Birmingham.
