Education Policy Fellow at Teach Plus

Haley Ford, M.Ed, is an experienced early childhood educator and advocate currently serving as an Early Educators for Thriving Children Fellow at VOCEL, where efforts focus on developmentally appropriate practices and mental health support in early education. Ford holds the role of Early Childhood Special Education Teacher and Resident Mentor at LaSalle II Magnet School/Chicago Public Schools, also participating in various mentorship programs within CPS. As an Education Policy Fellow at Teach Plus, Ford centers research on pay parity for early childhood educators. With additional experience as a Senior Wedding Planner at Plan & Gather Events, Ford has held various teaching and leadership positions, including founding Case Manager at KIPP One Primary and Special Education Teacher roles across multiple schools. Ford's academic credentials include a Master's in Education Policy and School Leadership from American University and a Master's in Education, Special Education from Dominican University.
