Kathy Pierre

Kathy Pierre is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in media management and journalism. Currently serving as the Communications and Media Manager at Teach Plus since February 2020, Kathy focuses on amplifying the voices of teacher leaders within the organization. Concurrently, Kathy holds the position of Senior National Coordinator of Communications and Media at Meredith Corporation, where responsibility includes writing feature articles for Kindred. Previously, Kathy has worked as a Communications Specialist at the Ida B. Wells Society, a Community Reporter for Gannett | USA TODAY NETWORK, and held editorial positions at RELEVANT Media Group and The Gainesville Sun. Kathy's early experience includes roles at Walt Disney World and as a Collegiate Correspondent for USA TODAY. Kathy earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Florida.
