Natalie Brown

Natalie Brown is an experienced educator and policy manager with a strong background in teacher leadership and advocacy. Currently serving as the Texas Policy Manager at Teach Plus since January 2022, Natalie manages the Texas Policy Fellowship, focusing on developing teachers into leaders and equity advocates while fostering partnerships for regional policy work. Previously, as Policy Program Manager for Teach Plus Texas, Natalie worked on enhancing teacher voice in educational policy and contributed to the Teacher Vacancy Task Force to address teacher shortages. Before joining Teach Plus, Natalie spent 15 years as an elementary teacher in the Dallas Independent School District, primarily in 2nd grade, and held leadership roles including Distinguished Teacher Ambassador. Natalie holds a Master of Education in School Leadership from the University of North Texas at Dallas and a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Merchandising from the University of North Texas.
