Sergio M.

Sergio M. has over 15 years of experience in the tech industry. Sergio began their career in 2005 as a Sybase DBA and Linux System Administrator at Universidad Antonio Nariño. In 2010, they moved to Symmetric Solutions (Sydney) as a C# Developer. From 2011-2013, they worked at Emocean Studios as a Web Developer and Excite Digital Media as a Developer. In 2014, they joined Compco Digital as a DevOps, where they were in charge of the migration of the whole platform from dedicated servers to AWS and monitoring and tuning the platform to improve the response at end-user end. Sergio then moved to Veromo in 2015 as a Software Developer - Devops. In 2018, they joined Envirobank Recycling in the same role. In 2020, they moved to Qantas Loyalty as a Site Reliability Engineer, and they are currently employed in the same role at Teach Starter.

Sergio M. started their educational journey in 1994 when they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Universidad Antonio Nariño. In 2007, they completed a Diplomado DBA Oracle 10g from Universidad Piloto de Colombia, focusing on Bases de datos Oracle and Sistema Operativo Linux Red Hat 4 Enterprise. From 2009 to 2011, Sergio M. attended IIBIT and obtained a Diploma of Information Technology - Software Development. In 2021, they earned an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
