Jonathan Cooke

Jonathan Cooke has a diverse work experience in data science and related fields. Jonathan started their professional career at Log Cabin Bar and Grill as a server in 2010 while also working as a tutor at East Stroudsburg University in 2011. In 2012, Jonathan worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Mississippi State University's Skill Acquisition Lab. Jonathan then moved on to Mississippi State University, where they pursued an MBA degree and served as a Teaching Assistant for various finance and economics courses from 2014 to 2015.

After completing their MBA, Jonathan joined Rodale Inc. in 2016 as a Jr. Data Scientist until 2018. Jonathan then joined Nu Skin and worked as a Data Scientist for three years, primarily focusing on implementing web analytics tracking, auditing data, building dashboards, and conducting analyses using SQL, Python, R, Javascript, and HTML.

Jonathan continued their data science career at Scale Media in 2021 but only worked for a few months. Jonathan then joined Airbnb as a Data Scientist in October 2021 and remained with the company until October 2022. In 2023, Jonathan joined Teachable as a Data Scientist and is currently employed there.

In addition to their work experience, Jonathan also founded their own company, Cogen7 LLC, in 2020 and served as the Founder until June 2022.

Jonathan Cooke completed their education history as follows: from 2008 to 2010, they attended Motlow State Community College and obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Psychology. Jonathan then attended East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania from 2010 to 2012, where they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with a concentration in Psychology. Finally, from 2014 to 2015, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a minor in Management Information Systems at Mississippi State University, focusing on Business/Commerce in general. In addition to their formal education, Jonathan Cooke also obtained a variety of certifications related to data science and analysis, including courses on Python, SQL, machine learning, data visualization, and statistical modeling, among others.
