Gerald Grant

Dr. Gerald Grant, Chair of Neurosurgery Department at Duke University School of Medicine. He directs a Blood-brain Barrier Translational Laboratory focusing on enhancing drug delivery to brain tumors in children. He is committed to the treatment of children with intractable epilepsy and is an expert at state-of-the-art brain mapping techniques and awake language mapping in epilepsy patient. Dr. Grant serves as a Section Editor for Neurosurgery, an Education Chair for the American Society of Pediatric Neurosurgery, and a fellow on the Committee on Trauma (American College of Surgeons). He holds an MD from Stanford University School of Medicine.
