Teacher Created Resources began with a simple idea from a teacher who knew what other teachers needed. Our founder, Mary Dupuy Smith, a classroom teacher, started the company with a passion for creating meaningful, useful materials for the classroom. Today, we’re still family owned and operated, and that same commitment to teachers guides everything we do.
For over 45 years, we’ve been a trusted partner to educators around the world. Our teacher-developed materials have earned the confidence of schools, districts, and individual classrooms everywhere. We support learning from preschool through middle school with a wide range of curriculum-rich resource books.
But we’re not just about resource books; we’re also the go-to brand for classroom décor! Our trendy, themed collections are the most popular on the market and a hands-down favorite among teachers. From vibrant bulletin boards and motivational posters to playful stickers and incentives, our decor helps transform classrooms into welcoming, engaging spaces where students love to learn.
We’re also the creators and exclusive makers of Better Than Paper® Bulletin Board Paper, a revolutionary product that teachers absolutely love. It’s stronger, easier to hang, and more versatile than traditional paper, making classroom decorating simpler and longer-lasting.
Whether you’re an educator, school administrator, or parent, we’re here to support you with tools that are both practical and inspiring. When teachers need fresh ideas, reliable resources, or thoughtfully designed materials, they turn to us.
