Matt Verber

Matt Verber currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director of Policy and Advocacy at TeachForward since July 2016. Prior to this role, Verber was the State Policy Director at StudentsFirst, where responsibilities included designing a state policy agenda, drafting education policy, and testifying before legislative committees. Previous experience includes roles at the National Association of College and University Attorneys as a Legal Reference Service Clerk, a Legal Intern at the U.S. Department of Education, and a Legal Intern at Nextel in Santiago, Chile. Early career highlights include teaching and managing students at Solebury School. Verber holds a Juris Doctor from American University and a Bachelor of Arts in International/Global Studies from Dickinson College.
