Cara Farber

Cara Farber is an experienced educator and instructional leader with a robust background in literacy and curriculum development. As an Instructional Coach at Teaching Lab since March 2024, Cara focuses on K-2 Foundational Literacy. Previously, Cara served as the Director of Elementary School Literacy at KIPP NYC and held positions such as Adjunct Professor at Relay Graduate School of Education and Dean of Curriculum and Instruction at Great Lakes Academy Charter School. Cara's earlier roles include senior managerial and training positions at UChicago Impact, as well as teaching roles at Uncommon Schools. Cara holds a BA in Public Policy and Education from Brown University and a Master of Science in Education from Hunter College.
