Shanice Core

Shanice Core is an experienced educational professional currently serving as an Instructional Coach at Teaching Lab since December 2023, where effective coaching strategies have led to increased student achievement. With a long tenure at the NYC Department of Education beginning in January 2018, Shanice has fulfilled multiple roles, including Special Education Teacher, Field Effectiveness Manager, and Professional Learning Community Facilitator, emphasizing coaching and support for both students and new teachers. Previous positions include a Red Carpet Events Intern at Darin Pfeiffer Consulting, Production Assistant Intern at Nickelodeon, and various internships in broadcasting and education, culminating in a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from Buffalo State University. Shanice has also developed curricula and implemented intensive English language camps while teaching abroad, showcasing a diverse skill set in education and media.
