Edith Schneider

Edith Schneider is a Senior Educational Consultant at Teaching Matters Inc., where they train teachers across New York City to integrate educational software into classrooms to enhance student achievement in literacy and math. With a rich background as a former science teacher, Edith has designed innovative workshops aligned with common core standards, utilizing tools such as Geometer's Sketchpad and Smart Notebook. Previously, they taught biology, chemistry, and research at Seward Park High School, where they developed a research curriculum that prepared students for the Borough Wide Manhattan Science Fair. Edith also served as a mentor to students, guiding them toward prestigious biomedical programs. They worked as a science teacher at Mark Twain Junior High School from 2006 to 2008.
