Kate Baxter

Kate Baxter is an organizational leader and culture builder with extensive experience in education, dedicated to closing gaps in student opportunity and achievement in American public charter schools. They served as a high school principal at Coney Island Prep from 2019 to 2023 and previously held various teaching and leadership roles, including instructional coach and vice principal at Uncommon Schools. Currently, they work as a senior education consultant at Teaching Matters and are set to begin a position as chief operating officer at Integration Charter Schools. Kate holds a Master’s degree in Secondary Education - English from DePaul University and a Bachelor’s degree in American Studies from the University of Maryland.
