Sam Onanda has held a variety of roles in the business world since 2009. Sam started their career as a Business Development Executive at JAQ United Construction and Engineering in 2009. Sam then moved to Shanghai Exports as a Business Manager in 2010. In 2011, they took on a role as an Overseas Student Recruiter as a Freelance worker. In 2014, they began working as an Academic Counselor at Beijing Imagination Education. In 2016, they were a Project Manager and Special Assistant to the Director at Shanghai-America Direct Import & Export Co. Ltd. In 2018, they took on the role of Event Manager at Keyvent China. In 2017, they became the General Manager - African Import Mall and Business Development Manager at (AFCHAM) African Chamber of Commerce in China. In 2020, they were a Non Executive Board Member at Afri-Aus Care Inc and a Consultant - Business Development & Recruitment at POPM Global. Sam also became a Training and Recruitment Consultant at Teaching Nomad in 2020.
Sam Onanda attended the University of St Andrews from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a BSc Hons. in Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry.
