Jefferson Baum is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in growth strategy, talent acquisition, and recruitment within the education sector. Currently serving as Head of Growth at TeachStart since 2023, Jefferson previously held roles including Vice President of Development Strategy and Learning at Teach For America, where leadership of a 130-person fundraising team generated $141M in revenue. Jefferson's expertise in talent acquisition was further demonstrated at Success Academy Charter Schools, overseeing the recruitment and hiring process for over 1,100 annual positions, and at Classical Charter Schools, managing recruitment for a National Blue Ribbon Award-winning network.
