Cathy McAuliffe

Cathy McAuliffe serves as the Early Childhood Coordinator at Northwest Arkansas Community College since May 2016 and has additional experience as an Observer/Trainer at Teachstone since 2012. Prior experience includes working as a Trainer for the Early Care and Education Project at the University of Arkansas from April 2015 to May 2016, and as an Early Childhood Education Specialist at STG International, Inc. from June 2012 to March 2015, providing training and technical assistance to Head Start grantees in Arkansas. Cathy held the role of Part-Time Consultant at Arkansas State University from August 2010 to June 2012, ensuring quality childcare availability for families, and co-facilitated a curriculum development project for early childhood professionals in Mexico, Central America, and Colombia from 2002 to 2010. Additionally, Cathy served as Department Chairperson and Professor at San Antonio College from November 1979 to December 2005. Educational credentials include a PhD in Education and Human Resource Development from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Drake University.
