Sereeta Cantres

Sereeta Cantres is an experienced professional in the early childhood education sector, currently serving as a CDA with CLASS Facilitator at Teachstone since August 2021, where Sereeta facilitates a CDA with CLASS course and supports learners. Since March 2012, Sereeta has been providing professional development sessions and technical assistance to early childhood programs through the Cantres Center for Professional Development, and has conducted CLASS observations since March 2014 as a CLASS Certified Observer. Additionally, Sereeta has been a PD Specialist for The Council for Professional Recognition since September 2013, conducting verification visits for Child Development Associate candidates, and facilitated trainings for early childhood professionals at Hatch Early Learning from February 2021 to December 2023. Sereeta holds a Master of Science in Early Childhood Education from Hunter College and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Public Affairs from Baruch College.
