Suzann Morris has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of early childhood policy and development. Suzann is currently working at Teachstone as the Vice President of Policy and Partnership Development. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Director of Public Policy and Government Relations at Teachstone.

Before joining Teachstone, Suzann served as a Fellow at the Bipartisan Policy Center, where they were a national expert on early childhood policy. Suzann led strategic projects on various aspects of early childhood, including child care financing, workforce development, and state governance structures. Suzann also analyzed the impact of Congressional legislation and federal programs on state systems and implementation.

Suzann also has experience working in Pennsylvania's Office of Child Development and Early Learning as the Deputy Secretary. During their tenure, they oversaw the growth and modernization of Pennsylvania's early learning system, including the implementation of a combined quality and child care resource and referral system. Suzann also increased investment in professional development and revised the state's quality rating and improvement system.

Additionally, Suzann held positions at the Pennsylvania Training and Technical Assistance Network, Delaware Valley Association for the Education of Young Children (DVAEYC), University of Pennsylvania School of Design, Public Citizens for Children and Youth (PCCY), and Center for Smoke-Free Policy.

Throughout their career, Suzann has demonstrated expertise in early childhood policy, program development, and strategic leadership. Suzann has contributed significantly to the advancement of early childhood systems and initiatives.

Suzann Morris completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from The George Washington University from 1997 to 2001. Suzann then pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Kentucky between 2005 and 2007.
