Amit Kumar

Amit Kumar has a diverse background in agricultural engineering and food technology, with significant experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Dairy Technologist at Teagasc in December 2023. Prior to this role, Amit completed a Graduate Student position at CAE Madakasira from July 2011 to April 2015 and gained hands-on experience as a Trainee at Southern Region Farm Machinery Training and Testing Institute in June 2013, focusing on farm machinery equipment. Additionally, Amit undertook internships at ICAR-Central Institute of Post Harvest Engineering & Technology, where research included silver nanoparticle treatment and drying kinetics, and served as a Research Scholar at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur from April 2017 to March 2023. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering from Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University, a Master of Technology in Food Technology and Processing, and a Research Doctorate in Food Processing and Nutrition, all from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
