Chris Murphy

Chris Murphy is a consultant, advisor, and non-executive director with over 20 years of experience in agribusiness, both in Australia and internationally. Their career began in research and extension roles with major Australian dairy companies before progressing to senior management positions at DairyNZ and Dairy Australia, where they managed significant project budgets. Since 2018, Chris has been an independent advisor, specializing in strategic and operational reviews, business planning, and providing consultancy services to various entities in the agricultural sector. They also hold an MBA from RMIT University and a Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Science from the University of Melbourne, alongside a Graduate AICD qualification from the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Chris currently serves as Chair of the International Science Advisory Board at Teagasc and as a Director at Zero Net Emissions Agriculture CRC.
