Ciara McDonagh

Ciara McDonagh is the Head of Food Industry Development at Teagasc, where they lead a team dedicated to supporting product and process innovation for Irish food businesses. With 20 years of experience in consultancy and technical services, they have actively fostered national and international collaborations and secured funding for various research projects. Previously, Ciara held roles including Innovation Manager and Food Industry Development Officer at Teagasc, where they provided innovative solutions and advisory services to food sector clients. Ciara has also worked as a Meat Research Scientist and began their career as a researcher at University College Cork. They are currently pursuing further education at Dublin City University.
