Gavin Deady

Gavin Deady PhD currently serves as the National Learner Support Specialist at Teagasc since September 2025. Prior experience includes roles as an Educational Support Worker and Administrator, Tutor, and Research Assistant at University College Cork from October 2011 to October 2015, alongside positions such as Disability Access Route to Education Assessor at the Central Applications Office and Information and Support Coordinator at Disability Support, UCC. Gavin's work experience also includes being a Key Worker at ASPECT - Cork Association for Autism, and an Assistant Lecturer and Project Supervisor at University College Cork. Gavin holds multiple degrees, including a PhD in Sociology from University College Cork, and has contributed significantly to supporting students with disabilities throughout both higher education and individual learning requirements.
