Michael O'Donovan is the Head of Grassland Science at Teagasc, a position held since 1995. They earned a Bachelor of Agricultural Science in 1995, a Master of Agricultural Science in 1998, and a PhD in 2000, all from University College Dublin. Currently, O'Donovan serves as an Adjunct Professor at both University College Dublin and University College Cork. They briefly worked as a Grassland Researcher at INRA in France in 2003 and have a deep interest in enhancing the competitiveness of Irish dairying through effective grass-based feeding strategies.
