Ben Hempstead

Ben Hempstead, PE, currently serves as the Director of Technical Services at Teague, where the focus is on empowering the technical teams within the Aerospace Design Studio to meet current and future demands. Previously, Ben held the position of Director of Prototyping at Teague, overseeing the organization and leadership of the Design Realization Center. Prior to joining Teague, Ben worked at Electroimpact, Inc. for nearly 28 years, initially as Mechanical Engineering Lead, designing automated machinery for aerospace assembly, and later as Chief of Staff, where responsibilities included sponsoring digitalization initiatives and advising senior management. Earlier in the career, Ben was a Design Engineer at Black Ram Engineering, involved in the design and integration of tooling for heavy truck and agricultural equipment. Ben holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington.
