Sandeep Krishnakumar

Sandeep Krishnakumar is a Design Researcher at Teague since January 2023, previously serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at Penn State University from August 2019 to December 2022. During the tenure at Penn State, Sandeep collaborated with Dr. Jessica Menold in the Technology and Human Research in Engineering Design (THRED) lab, managing significant research efforts that included designing surveys, conducting interviews, and performing thematic analysis for studies funded by the National Science Foundation. Sandeep’s contributions resulted in numerous peer-reviewed publications aimed at enhancing engineering design education, and also involved facilitating workshops for emerging researchers. Educational achievements include a PhD and a Master's degree in Human Factors and Ergonomics from Penn State University, as well as a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli.
