Steve's early career started at Pioneer Investment Management, Inc, where they held the roles of Web Editor from January 1998 to January 1999 and Desktop Publisher from January 1997 to January 1998.

Steve O'Brien pursued their education in a chronological manner. Steve commenced their educational journey in 1994, enrolling at Suffolk University, Frank Sawyer School of Management, located in Boston, Massachusetts. Steve successfully earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from this institution in 1997.

Then, in 2010, Steve attended the Boston University - Center for Digital Imaging Arts - CDIA in Waltham, Massachusetts. During their period of study from 2010 to 2011, they focused on Web Development - Full Stack, concentrating on areas such as Javascript, PHP, CSS, and HTML.

Subsequent to completing their studies, Steve obtained a certification in Web Development - Full Stack from the Boston University - Center for Digital Imaging Arts - CDIA in June 2011.
