Ty Gavin

Ty Gavin has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Ty is currently working as a Software Architect at Tealium since August 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Technical Support at Dremio from September 2021 to August 2023. From 2011 to 2021, Ty held the position of Vice President of Software Development at Tealium. Before joining Tealium, they worked as a Business Analyst at TouchCommerce from 2009 to 2011, and as a Senior Analytics Consultant at Digitaria from 2008 to 2009. Prior to that, they served as a Technical Consultant at Visual Sciences (formerly WebSideStory) from 2005 to 2008. Ty began their career as an Intern at Adaptec in 1997 and later worked as the Internet Marketing Manager at Embarcadero Technologies from 2001 to 2005. Ty also worked as a Network Administrator at CityTeam Ministries from 1999 to 2000. Overall, Ty has gained expertise in software development, technical support, analytics, internet marketing, and network administration.

Ty Gavin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. Ty attended the university from 1994 to 1999. In addition to their degree, Ty obtained the certification of AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in July 2021.
