Team Albatross is India’s No.1 official regular class SAE Aero Design team from VIT, Vellore established in 2016. As a team of undergraduate Aero-enthusiasts, we learn and develop unique and innovative ideas in the field of Aerodynamics. We participate in International and National level competitions such as SAE Aero Design East and SAEISS Aero Design Challenge. The team was officially inaugurated on the 29th of August 2016 with the vision of becoming one of the best teams at the University. Ever since our inception, we have embarked on a tough, yet worthwhile journey of designing and manufacturing RC aircrafts. Under the constant guidance of our alumnus, our team has received several laurels in a span of 5 years. We have secured the 1st position overall in the SAE-ISS event 2021 and 8th overall worldwide in the SAE Aero Design Knowledge Event. We hope to triumph in our future ventures too and as our insignia represents, we aspire to continue Scaling the Infinite!
