David O'Rourke's work experience begins in 2007 as an Affiliate Relations Intern at NBC. In 2008, they worked as a Marketing Intern at Focus Features and as a Home Entertainment Intern at NBC Universal. In 2009, they worked as a Marketing and Sales Assistant at Moving Pictures. In 2010, they joined NBC Universal's Page Program and later moved to work as an NBC page in guest relations, also assisting on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. David then spent four months on assignment at Universal Pictures Digital Marketing. During the same year, they also started working at Aspect as a Runner, assisting with motion picture, television, and video game advertising. In 2011, they became a Copywriter at Aspect, managing a team of three copywriters and delivering high-quality marketing copy for various media.

David O'Rourke attended the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University from 2005 to 2009. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Marketing. Simultaneously, they also pursued a Minor in Film and Media Production from Arizona State University.
