Jon Berkowitz has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of motion graphics and creative direction. Jon started their career at Imaginary Forces in 2002, where they assisted in the development and production of various projects, including main title sequences for films such as "Spider-Man" and "Stuart Little 2." Jon also co-produced a re-branding campaign for The Discovery Channel.
In 2004, Jon worked as a producer at Digital Kitchen and Picture Mill, where they produced motion graphic elements for commercials and main title sequences for films like "Spanglish" and TV shows like "Queer As Folk."
From 2005 to 2006, Jon served as a creative director at Aspect Ratio and produced CGI elements for television spots, including time-lapse animations and CG particles.
From 2006 to 2013, Jon worked at The Ant Farm, first as a creative director and later as the creative director of The Design Group. Jon was responsible for concept development, building client relations, and presenting integrated pitches for various marketing ventures. Jon also provided creative direction for motion graphics in theatrical, broadcast, and video game marketing assets.
In 2013, Jon worked as a motion graphics producer for various freelance projects at Method Design, Picture Mill, BL!ND, and Aspect Ratio. Jon produced projects for clients such as Microsoft, Jon M. Chu, and Jason Bateman.
Since 2014, Jon has been with Aspect in Los Angeles, initially as the creative director and head of motion graphics and later as the vice president. Jon built a multi-disciplinary motion graphics department and created motion graphics for entertainment marketing assets, including teasers, trailers, TV spots, and online advertisements for clients like Warner Bros, Netflix, DreamWorks Animation, and more.

Jon Berkowitz completed their Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Film/Video Production from the University of Southern California, starting in 1997 and finishing in 2001. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Comparative Literature from Hamilton College, where they studied from 1991 to 1995.
