David Morris

Vice President, Customer Success at Team Carney

David Morris has over 20 years of experience in customer success, program management, and technology consulting. David'scareer began in 1985 when they joined the U.S. Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer. During this time, they managed and reported status of completed tasks and projected goals for over 2000 people for two years. David also developed materials for the ship's electrical safety program and delivered the course to over 500 people.

In 1991, they joined the U.S. Navy Reserve as a Department Head and Action Officer. During this time, they managed a team to develop a two-year training program to prepare naval reserve personnel for NATO exercises. David also tracked payroll and participation for a 100-person unit over a two-year period and monitored cost savings to the active duty command by naval reserve manhours.

In 1993, David began working at Accenture as a Senior Manager, Manager, Senior Consultant, and Staff Consultant. During their eight-year tenure, they managed and led training development and technology consulting projects for Fortune 500 clients. David was also recognized by clients and partners as a results-driven leader for project teams of two to ten professionals with business, IT, and training organizations.

In 2002, David joined Carney, Inc. as Vice President of Customer Success, Program Manager, and Senior Client Manager. As Senior Client Manager, they managed cross-functional teams in the development of interactive multimedia performance solutions and sub contractor teams for the delivery of classroom training for large, multi-year projects for the federal government. David also managed important long-term relationships with both clients and sub contractors, developing their trust and confidence in Carney processes and products. David led project planning and execution in adherence to the approved project plan to assure quality deliverables on time and within budget.

David Morris obtained a Bachelor of Science in English from the United States Naval Academy in 1985. David then went on to pursue an MBA from William & Mary - Raymond A. Mason School of Business in 1991, which they completed in 1993. In 2006, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI.
