Thomas Watts is a seasoned software consultant with extensive experience in medical device development, currently serving as a Senior Software Consultant at Team Consulting since April 2016. Responsibilities include leading software design, development, and verification compliant with IEC 62304 and US FDA requirements. Previous roles at the same company involved developing embedded C code, Python prototyping, Verilog HDL development, and conducting electronics hardware reviews. Thomas also gained experience at SLE Ltd as a Graduate Engineer focusing on embedded system programming compliant with BS EN 62304 and the MISRA C 2012 coding standard. An undergraduate project at Imperial College London involved developing software for a real-time glucose monitor for traumatic brain injuries. Thomas holds a Masterโs degree in Biomedical Engineering from Imperial College London.
