Helly Douglas

Helly Douglas has a diverse work experience in content writing and teaching. Helly started their professional career as a Freelance Writer for Hire in 2018 and continued working in this role until 2021. During this time, they worked with various companies and organizations, including ProWritingAid, where they wrote articles and blogs on education topics. Helly also worked as a Content Writer for Wacom Europe GmbH and Local Buzz on a freelance basis.

In 2017, Helly worked as a Teacher SEN/Intervention at Oakbank School until 2021, gaining experience in special education needs and intervention strategies.

In 2020, they also took on the role of Content Writer and Social Media Manager for Wildchild Adventure UK, focusing on creating content to promote the benefits of residential school trips.

Helly's passion for writing extended to the field of children's literature as a Children's Writer for Pickatale - read, listen and learn! in 2021, where they created exciting and informative stories for children.

Helly also gained experience in public relations and content writing as part of the Global Equality Collective | GEC, where they wrote case studies, press releases, and articles on diversity and inclusion topics.

In 2021, Helly became the Head of Content for My Family Coach and later moved to Team Teach Ltd in the same role. At Team Teach, they worked on content projects and courses to promote positive behavior training techniques in schools and health and social care settings.

Helly Douglas has a diverse education history. From 2001 to 2003, they attended the University of Winchester, where they pursued a degree in English with American Studies, focusing on English Language and Literature. Following this, they furthered their education at the same institution from 2003 to 2004, obtaining a Postgraduate Certificate in Primary Education (PGCE). Helly'spostgraduate studies specialized in teaching Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students.

In addition to their formal degrees, Helly Douglas has also obtained several certifications. In June 2019, they received the Inbound Certified certification from HubSpot Academy. More recently, in January 2023, they completed the Instructional Design for eLearning program at Omniplex Learning. Helly'seducational journey also includes a certification in eLearning Accessibility from Omniplex Learning, which they achieved in February 2023. Furthermore, Helly has completed the Team Teach Positive Behaviour Training Level 1 course in March 2022 and subsequently earned the TeamTeach Trainer Accreditation in April 2022 from Team Teach Ltd.
