James Webber

James Webber has a diverse work experience. James is currently serving as the Group CFO at Empowering Learning Ltd, Team Teach Ltd, and TimePlan Education Group Limited since March 2021. Before that, they worked at the Bank of England as part of the Decision Maker Panel from November 2019. Prior to that, James joined Ignata as the COO in April 2019 and later became the CFO/COO in August 2019. James was also the Managing Director at The Smarty Train from October 2017 to April 2019.

Furthermore, James served as the Group CFO/COO at Norman Broadbent Group from March 2014 to October 2017, where they played a key role in multiple equity fundraises and structured debt instruments. James previously worked at Brookland Partners LLP as a Vice President from July 2013 to February 2014.

James started their career at EY in 2008, where they held various positions including Senior Executive in Transaction Advisory Services and Assistant Manager in Audit & Assurance at Deloitte from 2004 to 2008. James also had a secondment to the UK&I COO Office at EY, where they gained valuable experience in talent management and the business's recruitment, training, and retention processes.

James Webber attended the University of Birmingham from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained a 2:1 degree in Geography. Additionally, they obtained a certification in ACA from ICAEW, although the specific dates of completion are not provided.
