Chris Freeman is an experienced professional with a background in hardware and software design and validation consulting, primarily focusing on Python development. Currently serving as a Community Forum Moderator at Treehouse since May 2015, Chris has also been the Owner of Chipembere Solutions since January 2007, where notable projects include consulting on VOLTTRON Transactive Control Node development and website applications for various organizations. Previous roles include Volunteer Coordinator for Open Source Bridge, Senior QA Engineer at Quality Logic, and various engineering positions at Intel. With a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Chris has contributed to several technical committees and events, fostering community engagement in technology and music.
