Ryan Bachman

Ryan Bachman serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at GM Financial since January 2017 and has also held the position of Senior Vice President Chief Information Security Officer. Additionally, Ryan is an Advisory Board Member at Team8 and YL Ventures, providing insights on investment strategies and portfolio matters. As a member of the Team8 Villager community, Ryan collaborates with over 100 Chief Information Security Officers, discussing innovations and evaluating cybersecurity solutions. Other advisory roles include positions on the Financial Services Industry Advisory Board at Palo Alto Networks and the Technology and Digital Advisory Board for the American Financial Services Association. Ryan is also a Board Member for Cristo Rey Fort Worth College Prep. Prior experience includes advisory roles at McAfee, consulting at PwC, cybersecurity leadership at Scottrade, and management at Deloitte. Ryan holds an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Saint Louis University.
