Manuel Kraus

Manuel Kraus has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and data science. Manuel is currently working as a Data Scientist at TeamBank AG since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Elektrobit (EB) for three years from June 2018 to October 2021. During their time at Elektrobit, they held the positions of Senior Software Engineer/Architect from April 2019 to October 2021, and Software Engineer from June 2018 to April 2019. Manuel also worked as a PHD Student at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg from December 2014 to May 2018.

Manuel Kraus began their education in 2010 at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and Universität Regensburg, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics. Manuel completed this program in 2013. Following their bachelor's degree, they enrolled at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg in 2013 and obtained a Master of Science (honours) degree in Physics in 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Manuel has also completed several certifications. In 2020, they obtained various certifications including "Sql For Data Science" from the University of California, Davis, "Introduction to Self-Driving Cars" and "State Estimation and Localization for Self-Driving Cars" from the University of Toronto, "Building Deep Learning Models with TensorFlow", "IBM AI Engineering Spezialisierung", "Deep Neural Networks with PyTorch", "Introduction to Deep Learning & Neural Networks with Keras", "Machine Learning with Python", and "Scalable Machine Learning on Big Data using Apache Spark" from IBM. In 2020, they also obtained a certification in "Robotics: Perception" from Penn State University.
