Matt Deakyne

Matt Deakyne has extensive work experience in the technology field. Matt is currently working as a Technology Evangelist at TeamDynamix since April 2022. Prior to this, Matt held multiple roles at The University of Kansas from 2016 to 2022, including Principal Analyst, Academic Services Manager, and Educational Technologist. In these roles, they supervised and provided technical leadership, coordinated educational technology teams, and developed solutions to improve learning experiences. Before that, they worked at the University of Saint Mary from 2011 to 2016 as the Program Director of Computer Information Systems and as a Computer Technician. In these positions, they updated and grew the IT program, repaired laptops, and provided training and support to faculty and staff. Matt began their career at Cerner Corporation in 2009 as a System Engineer.

Matt Deakyne attended Iowa State University from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Matt then pursued further education at the University of Saint Mary from 2013 to 2015, obtaining a Master of Arts degree in Education. Lastly, from 2018 to 2021, Matt attended the University of Kansas Medical Center, where they completed a Master of Science degree in Applied Statistics & Analytics.
