Jimi Wade

Jimi Wade is a Senior Design Engineer at TEAM, Inc. since September 2019, specializing in the machining, bolting, and vapour test service line, along with designing bespoke machines and products for the SILK range. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Designer at BAE Systems from September 2004 to December 2010, where Jimi completed a modern apprenticeship in Structural Design, achieving notable recognitions such as runner-up for the Irene Short Aerospace apprentice of the year in 2005 and Technical Apprentice of the year in 2008. From December 2010 to September 2019, Jimi served as a Design Engineer at Team Industrial Services, primarily focusing on designing line leak sealing solutions for pressure vessels, predominantly within the oil and gas sector. Jimi's educational background includes a BTEC Higher National Certificate in Mechanical and Computer Aided Engineering with Distinction and a BTEC National Certificate in Mechanical Engineering with Double Grade Distinction, both from the University of Central Lancashire.
