Jason Plata (He/Him)

Jason Plata has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Jason started his career in 2018 as a Comodo Security Analyst at Comodo, where he worked for five months. Jason then moved on to become an Information Assurance Security Officer (IASO) at 99th Regional Support Command from August 2018 to July 2019.

Jason joined the United States Army Reserve in 2018 and took on multiple roles simultaneously. Jason served as a Senior Information Technology Specialist (S6) from May 2018 to August 2019, where he supervised and mentored fellow instructors and peers, ensuring the readiness of Army Reserve Network accounts. During this time, he also established new IT policies in collaboration with network enterprise commands.

In 2019, Jason transitioned to a Senior Maintenance Supervisor role at the United States Army Reserve, where he continued to contribute until September 2021. Simultaneously, he also took on the responsibility of a Computer Specialist from September 2021 onwards.

Jason briefly worked as a Logistics Management Specialist with the United States Department of Defense from March 2020 to January 2021.

Jason'smost recent role is as a Technical Support Specialist at TeamLogicIT, where he started in January 2022.

Jason Plata earned a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Felician University from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, he obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Cyber Security from the same university from 2013 to 2016. In addition to his degrees, he also earned the CompTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA in January 2023.
