Marilou is a sportstech startup veteran who has led many businesses, including STATSports N.A. and CoachNow, with a focus on growth strategy, product and brand development and revenue acceleration. She has founded two global organizations committed to equal representation and opportunity for all including the nonprofit Women In Sports Tech, which drives growth opportunities for women and under-represented groups in the sportstech industry. She graduated with a business degree from UNC-Chapel Hill, where she was a varsity cross-country runner. “Mustard represents a refreshing and powerful antidote to the high cost and often subpar quality of coaching available to ambitious young athletes,” says McFarlane. “It’s also a very appealing and engaging brand, which is quite unique in the sports tech space.”
