Thomas Mazimann

Thomas Mazimann has held a variety of roles in the past 14 years. In 2007, they were a Professional Athlete - Kayaking with Jackson Kayak, where they were part of the National French Team and a two-time French Champion, ranked 7th and 30th worldwide in Junior and Senior category in kayak freestyle. In 2011, they worked in Marketing for Red Bull, where they sponsored hundreds of events and the largest student event in France, and was the #1 Sales in 2012. In 2017, they were the 1st Employee and Head of Growth at Dolby.io (Ex Voxeet - Acquired by Dolby Lab), where they built the demand generation & sales engine generating +1M$ ARR, and stayed with the company until its acquisition by Dolby (NYSE: DLB) in April 2019. In 2019, they were the Head of Growth at SaaStr and Growth Consultant at Plato. Currently, they are the Co-founder and CEO of TeamOut (YC W22), where they are providing a fast, affordable way to get remote teams together.

Thomas Mazimann is currently enrolled in Y Combinator's W22 program. Previously, they obtained a Master's degree in Entrepreneurship from ESCP Business School in 2017. From 2010 to 2016, they earned a Master's degree in Engineering from INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon. During 2013 and 2014, they participated in an Exchange Program at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, focusing on Materials Engineering.
