Michael Doran has worked in the recruiting and talent acquisition field since 2011. In 2011, they were the Lead Recruiter at Aon, where they developed a recruiting process from scratch that resulted in the hiring of 500 people to become licensed life insurance agents in 5 months. In 2012, they were a Senior Contract Recruiter at Nokia and a Lead Recruiter at edo Interactive, where they hired over 80 people in the course of a 15 month period. In 2013, they worked as a Senior Recruiter at Google, where they were the main sales recruiter for Google Cloud and was responsible for not only hitting their goal by mid contract, but finished the contract 30% over quota in hiring for the group. In 2015, they became the Global Talent Acquisition Manager at Nexmo, managing global recruiting and leading a team servicing North America, EMEA, and APAC. In 2016, they worked as an Executive Recruiter/Recruiting Operations Consultant at Dropbox, where they filled two senior positions within 45 days, and as a Recruiting Process Consultant at Celigo, Inc, where they filled the company's VP of Marketing opening, along with 24 other openings. In 2018, they were the Recruiting Lead at Bolt, where they engaged to do scale-up hiring and process consulting, and completed over 600 telephone interviews in the first four months. Currently, they are the Co-Founder & CEO at TeamSourced, where they are reimagining recruiting by delivering affordable technology, training, and community for anyone who needs to find and hire talent.
Michael Doran received their Bachelor of Arts in Human Development from North Park University in 2008, having started their studies in 2006.
