Cory Messerschmidt

Cory Messerschmidt is an experienced orthopaedic surgeon currently practicing at Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic since September 2021. Prior to this role, Cory served as an orthopaedic surgeon at Thomasville Orthopedic Center, P.C. from September 2017 to August 2021 and completed a fellowship in orthopaedic sports medicine at Emory Healthcare between August 2016 and July 2017. Cory's foundational training includes a residency in orthopaedic surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina from July 2011 to June 2016. Educationally, Cory earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School from 2007 to 2011 and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Mathematics from William & Mary from 2003 to 2007.
