James Cook

James Cook has been working in the medical industry since 1982. James started their career at Allergan as a Senior Scientist in Research and Development. In 1996, they took on the role of Director of Quality and Technical Development at Ista Pharmaceuticals. After four years at Abbott Medical Optics as the Head of Corneal Product Development, they joined Johnson & Johnson Vision as a Senior Manager in 2017. In 2021, they became a Principal Consultant at J.N.Cook Pharma and Med Dev Consulting, LLC, and most recently, they were appointed as the Chief Development Officer at TearSolutions Inc. in 2022.

James Cook obtained a Bachelor of Science in both Chemistry and Biology from UC Irvine. James then went on to obtain a Master of Science in Chemistry from California State University, Fullerton in 1989. James completed their education with an MBA in Business Administration from Pepperdine University in 1990.
