Software Development Engineer In Test at Tebra

Evan White has a diverse work experience in the software development and quality assurance field. Evan started their career as a QA Intern at Kareo in 2011, where they worked closely with developers to debug the application. Evan also wrote unit tests for the Kareo Web-services API.

In 2011, Evan also worked as a Software Engineer at Portfelo, where they developed a professional networking website for photographers, models, and make-up artists. Evan helped write documentation and plan sprints for the project.

Evan then joined the Video Game Developers Club as an Officer in 2011, where they increased club enrollment and led tutorials to teach game development tools and practices. Evan also helped create project acceptance criteria for better project success.

From 2012 to 2014, Evan worked at Hitachi Consulting as a Core Consultant - Technical. Evan acted as the sole developer for a vehicle configuration tool and improved a front-end vehicle loan calculator. Evan also implemented an alternative workflow for a campaign based on design mock-ups.

In 2014, Evan became a Software Engineer at Paciolan - Spectra, where they developed the PAC8 platform and system admin application. Evan coded various front-end features related to user administration, user role permissions, and donation management.

In 2018, Evan worked as a Quality Assurance Contractor at McGraw-Hill Education, where they wrote and executed test cases for web platforms such as "Student Account Home" and "ConnectMath". Evan coordinated with UI/UX, development, and product owners to identify testing requirements.

Currently, Evan is working as a Software Development Engineer In Test at Tebra since 2018. Evan leads quality efforts for an agile squad responsible for patient-facing features. Evan defines test methods and strategies, gathers quality metrics, and reports KPIs to leadership.

Evan White obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Informatics and Software Engineering from UC Irvine, between the years 2007 and 2012.
