Kayla Zeman

Lead Product Designer at Tebra

Kayla Zeman has extensive work experience in the field of design, with a focus on product and user experience (UX) design. Their most recent position was as a Lead Product Designer at Tebra, starting in 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Product Designer at Kareo, a Tebra company, from 2021 to 2022.

Before joining Tebra and Kareo, Kayla worked at CoreLogic as a Senior UX Designer from 2019 to 2021. In this role, they were responsible for gathering feedback from stakeholders, performing research with end users, facilitating ideation workshops, creating prototypes, conducting usability testing, iterating designs, and contributing to the design system. Kayla also worked on UI design tasks, converting existing interfaces to utilize design system components and adding new features.

Prior to CoreLogic, Kayla worked as a Senior UX/UI Consultant at Sogeti from 2018 to 2019. Kayla also gained experience as a UX Designer at Dell from 2016 to 2018, where they focused on creating human-centered solutions for the consumer shop experience on dell.com. Kayla was also assigned to Dell through The Creative Group as a UX Designer from 2016 to 2016.

Kayla's earlier experience includes working as a Web Designer at Fahrenheit Marketing from 2015 to 2016, as a UI Designer at Kasasa (formerly known as BancVue) from 2013 to 2015, and as a Junior UI Designer at Kasasa from 2012 to 2013. In these roles, they focused on creating user-friendly and responsive websites, designing based on user testing data and UX best practices, and supporting existing websites within branding guidelines.

At the start of their career, Kayla worked as a Graphic Designer at Foxmoor Continuing Education from 2011 to 2012, where they designed pamphlets and coordinated print materials for continuing education seminars. Kayla also gained experience as a Graphic Design Intern at the Eau Claire Area Economic Development Corporation from 2010 to 2011, where they designed print collateral and web pages for economic growth campaigns.

Throughout their career, Kayla has demonstrated strong skills in design software such as Sketch, Abstract, Invision, Adobe Suite, and Zeplin. Kayla is familiar with communication and collaboration tools such as Zoom, Slack, Trello, Miro, Google Docs/Drive, Google Surveys, Jira, and MS Office Suite.

Kayla Zeman attended the University of Wisconsin-Stout from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Their field of study was Graphic Design. In June 2018, they obtained a certification in Conducting Usability Testing from The Interaction Design Foundation.
