Thomas Jarrell has a diverse range of work experience spanning different industries and roles. Thomas began their career as a Sales Associate at American Eagle Outfitters in 2008. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Featured Columnist at Bleacher Report, where they created site content and edited articles. Thomas then served as a lifeguard and manager at DRD Pool Management, Inc. from 2006 to 2011, where they managed staff, facilitated meetings, and organized schedules.
In 2012, Thomas became a Teaching Assistant and Lecturer of Composition and Creative Writing at UC Irvine. Thomas taught classes, developed lesson plans, and facilitated discussions. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Reader and Social Media Coordinator at Faultline Journal of Arts and Letters, where they curated journal content, managed the journal's web presence, and communicated with followers.
Thomas continued their teaching career at Citizens of the World Charter Schools from 2015 to 2019, serving as a Lead Teaching Associate. In this role, they assessed student progress, facilitated whole-class instruction, and promoted social-emotional learning.
In 2018, Thomas joined PatientPop Inc. as a Social Media Copywriter. Thomas later became a Content Manager, responsible for developing search engine optimized content for healthcare client websites and acting as a strategic consultant during the onboarding process. In 2022, they remained in a similar position at Tebra as a Sr. Content Manager.
Throughout their career, Thomas has demonstrated their ability to manage content, lead teams, teach, and ensure client satisfaction.
Thomas Jarrell has a strong educational background in the field of language, literature, and creative writing. Thomas completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Maryland from 2008 to 2012. Following that, they pursued a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Creative Writing from the University of California, Irvine, from 2012 to 2015.
In addition to their formal education, Thomas has obtained various certifications to expand their skill set.
